Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to join any paranormal investigation conducted by Spooky Paranormal. By participating, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Health and Safety

  • Drug, Smoking, and Alcohol Policy: Participants are strictly prohibited from using drugs, smoking, or consuming alcohol during any Spooky Paranormal investigation. Additionally anyone suspected of being currently under the influence of such substances will not be allowed to join the event.
  • Appropriate Attire: Participants must wear suitable clothing and footwear for the prevailing weather and ground conditions. Many investigation locations may have uneven ground, and appropriate attire is essential for safety.
  • No Pets: Pets are not permitted any any of the locations due to health and safety of all participants,.

3. Transportation and Parking

  • Responsibility: Spooky Paranormal is not responsible for transportation to or from the investigation location, including parking arrangements.
  • Fines and Damage: Participants are solely responsible for any fines incurred during travel to or from the event or parking at the event. Additionally, participants are liable for any damage caused to property during the investigation.

4. Respect and Conduct

  • Respect for Property: Participants must treat all locations with respect and adhere to any rules or guidelines provided by Spooky Paranormal, property owners or authorities.
  • Respect for Others: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow investigators, team members, and any individuals encountered during the investigation.

5. Photography and Recordings

  • Permission: Participants are allowed to take photographs and recordings for personal use only. Please ensure any participants give their permission to be recorded beforehand. Any public sharing of media captured during the investigation must be approved by Spooky Paranormal. Please contact us by email to gain permission before making any recordings public.
  • Personal Equipment: Participants can bring along their own recording equipment if they want, but by doing so accept all responsibility of any loss or damage.

6. Confidentiality

Participants are expected to keep all information and findings obtained during the investigation confidential. Sharing sensitive information without permission is strictly prohibited. Please contact us by email to gain permission before making any recordings public.

7. Accessibility

  • Physical and Psychological Disabilities: Participants with physical or psychological disabilities should be aware that some investigation locations may not be disability-friendly. Uneven terrain, limited accessibility, and other factors may pose challenges for individuals with disabilities.
  • Participant Responsibility: Participants with disabilities are responsible for assessing their own capabilities and determining whether they can safely participate in the investigation. Spooky Paranormal cannot guarantee that all locations will be fully accessible.
  • Notification: Participants with disabilities are encouraged to notify Spooky Paranormal in advance of any specific accommodations they may require. Efforts will be made to accommodate reasonable requests, but certain limitations may be beyond our control.
  • Pregnancy: We do not recommend women in their later term of pregnancy attend an investigation due to uneven terrain and limited accessibility which may pose challenges for these women. Spooky Paranormal is not liable for any injuries or damages sustained during any investigation.

8. Acknowledgment of Risks

Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with paranormal investigations, including but not limited to physical and emotional challenges. Spooky Paranormal is not liable for any injuries or damages sustained during the investigation.

9. Cancellations

  • Cancellations by Spooky Paranormal: There may arise some unforeseen events which may deem it necessary for Spooky Paranormal to cancel an event. This may be due to extreme weather conditions or notification from the location itself. As such we will make contact by either email &/or phone dependant on how close it is till the start time of the event. You will be offered a refund or credit for another future event, whichever is more appropriate for you.
  • Cancellations by participant: Requests to cancel tickets by participants should be emailed through to us at investigations@spookyparanormal.co.uk as soon as possible. When a participant cancels before the event, there are several conditions around refunds. There will be no refund or credit provided when we are notified within 48 hours (2 days) before the event begins. If notified between 2 – 4 days notice then you are only entitled to a full credit for another event. If notified with more than 4 days notice then we can provide a refund less a £2 admin charge per ticket. For more information please refer to our Refund Policy.

10. Emergency Procedures

Participants are required to follow emergency procedures and instructions provided by Spooky Paranormal in case of any unforeseen incidents during the investigation.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Spooky Paranormal reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.


By participating in any Spooky Paranormal investigation, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
